Other reviewers have complained about the check-in process. This is a huge hotel and yes, it takes a while. Interestingly, I was not offered a key to the minibar during check-in. Why not ask if I want to spend outrageous sums on snacks and drinks? This hotel seems to attract a lot of business tra..Great service and location. Beautiful hotel and a good price for Union Square. Concierge was very helpful too. We didn't eat there but many reasonable (for city prices) diners and restaurants in the area to choose from for breakfast/lunch. Close to BART and other transportation. The reception and concierge are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. Room is small but comfortable. I got a great rate on a suite from Hotels.com, which turned out to be less expensive than the room rate a friend of mine got for a regular room! My stay was great - my I took my son and grandson on a trip to see a giants game and was totally happy with the hotel staff and their willingness to go beyond our needs and requests while there. However, they are harmless and non-violent and it's really fin...Executive level a must , awesome view of bay, excellent complimentary breakfast. Location okay , little bit of a walk to some locations. Taxi $10 to pier. Just remember $60 nite to park car. The location was great. Stones throw from Chinatown gate and union square shopping. Also nice that it wasn't bordering tenderloin. The rooms were nice and comfortable and homey.
